Hajj2026: KATSINA STATE PWB ANNOUNCES THE SUM OF 8.5M NAIRA AS 2026 DEPOSIT FOR INTENDING PILGRIMS

Following the allocation of 3,479 Hajj seats to Katsina State by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, which directs all the commissions in the States to start registration of intending pilgrims for the year 2026.
In view of that, the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board under the leadership of Executive Director Alhaji Abdullahi Yunusa Dankama informed the general public, particularly Intending Pilgrims of the year 2026 that, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Katsina State Malam Dikko Umar Radda has approved to the Board to commence the 2026 Hajji registration and deposit collection the minimum of the sum of eight million five hundred thousand naira as fixed by the NAHCON and the payable will be between now to the Eight of October, 2025 in line with the approved time line issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj & Umarah.
The Board remind its clients that all payments must be in the name of the Board via a certified Bank draft purchased from any reputable Commercial Bank. Payments should therefore be made in any of its Zonal offices close to the intending pilgrim, which are situated at Funtua, Malumfashi, Dutsinma, Kankia, Daura, Mani and Katsina, respectively.
For further enquiries or information, intending pilgrims are strongly advised to contact and deal directly with their respective Zonal Officers for payment and should duly come along with important documents such as National ID Card, Local Government Indigene letter, 24 No Passport size Photographs and their e-passports for registration.
The Executive Director, Alhaji Yusuna Dankama, saluted the Governor for giving the Board all the necessary attention and helping hands, which allowed them to perform last year's Hajj Operations successfully. He also thanks the entire Board for their tireless work during the operations, both at home and in Saudi Arabia.
